zip lock tool

a tool used to remove a vinyl siding or soffit panel by inserting the end of the tool between the top lock and buttlock, hooking the edge of the buttlock and pulling. Once the tool is inserted, the buttlock is popped apart and the zip lock tool is slid along the panel length, pulling at intervals until the panel is free. A similar action is used to re-install the panel by pulling the buttlock down with the zip lock tool, and pushing on the panel face until it snaps back into a locked position.
